Senior Pictures Des Moines | Downtown With Isabel

A JHS senior session in downtown Des Moines and a local park for a variety of images.

Can we all give a shout out to this high school senior!  She has so many talents and seems to excel at every single one of them.  It’s no surprise her senior session turned out so well.  We started out in a few of my favorite spots downtown for senior pictures.  She was so comfortable in front of the camera.

Our next stop was a parking garage nearby for a different downtown look.  It surprises many of my clients, but I will often use a parking garage as a location for sessions as it provides so many different looks and allows us to get a wider variety of images in the final gallery.  

As a contrast to the downtown images, Isabel also wanted a natural setting and to incorporate her flute into some of her images.  Her white dress was a great choice for this setting.  Incorporating her instrument into her session is a great way to capture the activities she is involved in during her senior year.  I had a blast photographing Isabel and loved all the personal touches she brought into her session.
