Des Moines Senior Pictures | Sunflower Field with Hannah

A fun summer session in a local sunflower field.

One of Hannah’s requests was a sunflower field for her Des Moines senior pictures.  We headed out on a very warm afternoon - thanks to Dad for the battery powered fan to keep us as cool as Hannah looks in her pictures!  Despite the heat, we had a blast.  Hannah has so much energy and was so fun to work with during her session.

Hannah was full of ideas during her sunflower session.  As a photographer, I love collaborating with my seniors on ideas they want to try in their session.  This brings so much more of their own personality into their final images.  It can be outfits, props, locations, or even just poses during their session.  So many of her favorite images from this session started with ideas she mentioned that we both built on to get some fabulous final shots.

We captured the beautiful sunflowers and hung around long enough to get some sunset images on the road before we headed out.
