High School Senior Session | Gabi

High school senior session in Downtown Des Moines

We were so lucky with the date for Gabi’s senior session. The leaves in her late October session were at their peak for fall and added so much beautiful color to her gallery. Fall is definitely my favorite season in general but it can be so hard to time it just right for a photo session. So when nature aligns with a scheduled session I love to take full advantage!

Gabi wanted to incorporate her saxophone into her session to capture the memory of her involvement in band throughout her school years. Her Mom joined her at her session and we started out with a great view of the downtown skyline.

After capturing a few images with the skyline as a backdrop, we moved into the golden foliage of the nearby trees before changing into her next outfit.

The vibrant colors of her next outfit went so well in so many locations! In addition to the skyline, we made a quick stop at the river for a different skyline view as well as some bridge shots.

Our next stop was the open fields of a nearby park, but couldn’t resist some key Des Moines lightposts to add to her gallery before the sun began to drop behind the trees.
