A few tips to consider when choosing your high school senior photographer.

Class of 2022 - your senior year is right around the corner! This is such an exciting time in your life. You are in the home stretch of your junior year of high school and summer will be here before you know it. Your last year of high school begins in just a few short months.

There are so many things to think about as you begin your senior year of high school, one of which is scheduling your senior pictures.  Your senior portrait session should be an experience all about you to capture authentic images that showcase your interests and personality.  Selecting the right photographer for your photo session involves so many considerations - but that doesn’t mean it has to be a difficult decision.  Over the next few posts I will walk you through some of the most important things to consider when searching through the long list of photographers you can choose from to capture your senior pictures.  Just like your senior portraits, this process should start with you - the senior, and your parents.  Before you can begin selecting the right photographer for your senior session you need to spend a little time thinking about what you want your final images to look like, and how you want to enjoy your final images.  So before we jump into tips, have a quick conversation with your parents to understand what each of you are thinking when it comes to your senior images.  While your images are all about you - your mom will also enjoy them for many, many years after you graduate.

If you are currently a junior in high school it’s time to start thinking about scheduling your senior session, especially if you want to incorporate spring flowers in your images as many photographers book up quickly.
